Hello there ZoneBBS users. As you can see, my username is Rakim! I haven't really taken the time to talk to anybody on the Zone. You may not know this about me, but I'm pretty shy when it comes to socializing. I've posted a couple of board posts, but that's about it. If you read my profile, then you can obtain a bit more information about me. I do want to promote my little accessible site though. Go to

Anyway, I also make a couple of podcasts that demonstrate some audiogames. Also, if you've read some of my other board posts, you will also know that my dream job is to be a computer programmer. But if you ever want to talk to me, feel free to! I'll talk about anything you want, as long as its not random. Random in the sense of not being relevant to introduction. Well, I guess I better stop. I'm pretty much writing the whole "about me" section of my profile. I think that's about enough that you need to know about me. I guess I should have mentioned that my real name is Edgar. So if you ever want to call me by my real name, feel free to do so!

Hello both Rakem and Burak. Welcome to the zone.

Rakem, before I retired I was a computer programmer for about twenty-five years--starting way back when everything was programmed on punch cards and fed into a computer.

It's a wonderful job if you have the aptitude for it. If you don't, it would be terribly frustrating.

Actually, the zone can be a fun place to waste your time--well, not quite waste--it's a good place to meet new people and make new friends.
